Charles Foster is president of Tindall & Foster, heading their immigration-law practice group. He is a past national president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and chairman of the Immigration Coordinating Committee of the American Bar Association. He was awarded the Royal Decoration of the Knight Commander (Second Class) of the Most Noble Order of the Crown of Thailand by His Excellency Dr. Suarkiart Sathirathai, Foreign Minister of Thailand. Foster serves as honorary consul general for the Kingdom of Thailand in Houston and as chairman of the Asia Society Texas Center. He also is on the Houston committee of the Council of Foreign Relations. Foster earned his bachelor's and law degrees at the University of Texas.
