National Consortium for Teaching about Asia

The National Consortium for Teaching about Asia, is funded by the Freeman Foundation, and is a multi-year initiative to encourage and facilitate teaching and learning about Asia in world history, geography, social studies, and literature courses. Internationally oriented documentary videos. Perfect for the classroom. 18-30 minutes in length. Can be downloaded from their website for classroom viewing.


PBS Wide Angle
The WIDE ANGLE Global Classroom offers lesson plans and activities for middle school and high school teachers. All episodes of WIDE ANGLE may be taped and used for educational purposes for one year from the original date of broadcast.

Primary Source aims to provide humanities teachers with not only historical and cultural content, but also the grasp and enthusiasm for the subject needed to engage students to study the diverse, complex world in which we live.
