The World Affairs Council is supported through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and foundations. Contributions to the World Affairs Council can take many forms:

Gift of cash Corporate matching gift Investment assets

Your gift can be given to support the Council's general fund or may be dedicated to another specific purpose. 

For example: $1,000 and higher can underwrite a specific program $1,000 will help send a teacher on an international trip $500 will supply lesson plans sets and resource materials for 5 teachers $125 covers the cost of a bus to bring students to Council events $250 can help purchase needed equipment and supplies

In what ever way you choose to help the Council, your gift will be thoughtfully and carefully used.

To recognize the generosity of donors who contribute over $1,000, we have created the Council Cabinet membership level. Donors at this level enjoy invitations to special dinners and receptions, as well as priority seating at programs.

The World Affairs Council of Houston is a public charity, as defined by section 501(c)(3), and donations are tax deductible. Supporting documents are available upon request.
