Pat Wood, III

Pat Wood, III, is former chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and an independent energy developer.  From 1995-2001, Wood chaired the Public Utility Commission of Texas.  He has also been legal counsel to a member of the Texas Railroad Commission, an attorney with Baker Botts LLP in Washington, and an associate project engineer with Arco Indonesia in Jakarta.  Wood's business, Wood3 Resources, is focused on clean power generation, independent transmission, and liquified natural gas.  He heads the North American Advisory Committee for Airtricity, a leading international wind energy company.  Wood has his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
