Nicolas J. Evanoff, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Frontera Resources.  Evanoff began his legal career with Baker Botts. Later, he worked for two drilling contractors - Pride International Inc., and Transocean Inc. Immediately before joining Transmeriden in 2006, he had been practicing law with Phillips & Reiter, where he served as outside counsel to the company. Besides being a lawyer, he is an engineer. He earned a degree in chemical engineering at A&M and his law degree at the University of Houston.
