3.Houston has a huge cultural impact. The city is a hot bed of different cultures because of its international community. The Houston Museum District gets over 7 million visitors a year.
4.Houston has a large impact on education in the country as there are sixty colleges and universities with over 360,000 current students enrolled. The University of Houston has been named a Carnegie-designated Tier one research university. The Princeton Review placed it one of America’s best colleges for undergraduates.
5.NASA also locates its Johnson Space Center in Houston which has its Mission Control Center located inside.
